SHE Software announced as lead sponsors of IOSH event

SHE Software is delighted to announce its role as lead sponsor of this year’s IOSH food and drink manufacturing health and safety conference, which takes place in Nottingham 2-3 October.

iosh-logoNow in its eighth consecutive year, the event is widely recognised as the UK’s foremost health and safety conference in the food and drink manufacturing sector.

This year's theme focuses on ‘A positive place for safety and health in a changing world’ and will explore fresh ways to address the most pressing health and safety issues affecting the industry.

Lewis Stokes, SHE Software’s food and drink sector lead, said: “While the food and drink manufacturing sector has its challenges, there are also some really exciting examples of good practice in health and safety taking place right now.

“We recently produced a video case study with one of our customers, G’s Group, which shows how innovative technology has revolutionised their safety management.

“The G’s Group story is a fantastic example of how the intelligent application of innovative technology can improve safety culture, and we were thrilled when they were awarded the Agriculture, Food and Beverages prize at the Verdantix HSE Innovation Awards earlier this year.”

In addition to a full programme of talks and discussions, the IOSH conference will also provide opportunities to examine sector and legal updates and how best to improve overall performance in food and drink manufacturing.

Lewis added: “We’re delighted to act as main sponsor at this year’s event and we’re looking forward to meeting delegates to talk about how best we can help them meet their health and safety challenges.”
