SHE Software is pleased to announce Bryson Recycling as a new customer of its health and safety software, Assure.
Bryson Recycling has joined the SHE Software community.
From its first recycling project in 1995, Bryson Recycling is now the largest social enterprise recycler in the UK, working in partnership with councils, government departments and recycling companies. The company collects and processes materials from over 60% of homes in Northern Ireland, as well as operating 8 recycling centers in Donegal and Wales.
Bryson Recycling has a unique social enterprise approach to waste, considering it to be a resource that can be used to create opportunities to maximise social and environmental benefit. The company are proud of their health and safety record and were named as a WISHNI Ambassador for the last three years running for their commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
Due to continued growth, Bryson Recycling recognised the business need for a health and safety software solution to help them manage the safety of its employees and contractors across multiple sites. They were looking to move away from their existing manual-based safety management system to not only reduce the admin burden placed on their admin team but to also improve visibility, monitoring and management of near misses and incidents to further improve safety performance and availability of real-time data.
SHE Software will be working closely with Bryson Recycling to implement their health and safety ‘Assure’ software across their wider workforce. Assure will allow employees to easily record all incidents across an organisation, whether near misses, injuries, vehicles, assets or environmental spills on a tablet or mobile device. A range of flexible, configurable templates will also help simplify the recording and monitoring of risk assessments while capturing real-time information.
Through Assure’s Safety Management Portal, employees and contractors can easily report, view and complete health and safety information in one place. The Mobile App, will also allow users to capture health and safety information on the go, either on-site or off-site. The need for double data entry is eliminated if no Internet connection is available, information is stored locally on the device until it can be synced.
Simon Cooke, Business Development Manager SHE Software, said:
“I am delighted that Bryson Recycling are part of our SHE Software health and safety community. The recycling sector can be a hazardous environment so it is refreshing to work with a company who take the health and safety of its employees and contractors extremely seriously. Assure will not only eliminate their existing heavy admin burden, but will also provide management with greater visibility and reporting over their dispersed operations.”
Danielle Crockford, Health, Safety & Quality Manager, Bryson Recycling, said:
"The aim of introducing health and safety management software is to improve efficiency and effectiveness of our health and safety systems. The software should streamline our reporting process; improve accuracy and ease of data management and trend analysis; enable easy replication of our systems to all sites; reduce our risk of exposure to prosecution, through robust evidence and data trails; and assist us in our long-term goal of reducing the number of accidents, incidents and insurance claims."
